Amase Station

Amase Station was opened on Aug. 31st, 1924 as part of the Katakami railroad. After the Katakami railway was demolished, it was rebuilt as Okayama Prefecture Bizenyanahara Cycling Route (also known as Katakami Roman Street), with the station maintained as the rest area. Along the route lie cherry trees on both sides. Tourists can enjoy hanami while cycling along the route.
